A Day of Training ...

Hello Folks,

Arrived in Perigueux, France by train about 2 hours ago and just laying low ... warm and sunny here ... a very quiet Sunday evening.  No sign of the grail or it's guardians ... not sure if they are still here or have moved on ... I'll have to pick up the trail tomorrow ...

If Belgium is about beer, moules et frites and good hardy country cooking ... France is about wine, baguettes, butter and sauces ... AND cheese ... arguably the best cuisine in the Occidental ... if grail hunting was difficult in Belgium it is going to be downright awful here ... the bread in France just can't be described ... you just have to come here and try it ... once you have, you will frown on every North American supermarket baguette you buy and bite into ...

I've already had one ... to keep my stamina up of course ... and it was delicious .. I swallowed it like a sword ...

Tonight is a night of reading and research ... tomorrow I will be in the former Aquitaine ... of 100 Years War and Eleanor fame ... and I will be there because I am pretty sure that the grail is already there ... more on why I think that tomorrow ...

So a little wine ... a little cheese .. a little bread ... oh to hell with it ... a lot of each ...

To quote from verse 100 of the Krome Koan ....

`... wine improves with age ... the older I get, the better I like it ... `
