Hello Folks,
... to be continued ...
I am in Paris now ...after a run up on the TGV from Amboise this AM ... it appears I have more work to do but more on that in a minute ....
The man from Belgium ... he did confirm most of my theory but related that he was not the original 'homo sapien' and while ancient was not 15,000 years old ... thank you very much ...
When I tried to question him ... he couldn't answer ... because he is from the multiverse ... and we all know if he and I have a disagreement ... there will be a split ... and we will never be able to converse again ...
I asked him if he had a name ... yes ...he had a name ... and I should use the short form ... Jude ...when I asked the obvious question ... he simply said ... I can't answer you and all things will be revealed in time ... but I need you to do something ....
Moinsieur Connor ... mysteries seem attracted to you ... for some reason they wish to give up their secrets to you ... I assume you are a womanizer of some note ... there is a key that I need to find ... not a virtual key ... not a clue ... but a physical key ... a key that I need to open a small ...shall we say chest ... I can't possess the key ... but in your hands you could use it to open this ...chest ...
The chest is located in what you refer to as Area 51 .... but it will be moved soon ... in the fall of the year ... again it will go to some place in Europe ... the location is not yet clear to me ...
I said I'll look for the key ... but in return you have to answer me a question ... if Christianity was such a negative force on homo sapiens ... why didn't you stop it ...
Monsieur Connor ... believe me ... I did try ... but what I did had the opposite effect ... making it in effect stronger ... and within 400 years I knew I had made a grave error in judgment ....
So you are ... let's just say I was a member of the sicarii ... and that is all I can say in fear of a split ...
So you were there ... I mean you engineered it ... you saw it .... you know the truth ... Monsieur Connor ... if you find the key .. you too shall know the truth ....
Where will I look for the key .... it will be located somewhere on the NE coast of North America .... you have probably read about Oak Island in relation to the grail legend ... there is some truth here but it has nothing to do with the grail ...as we both know ... it has a lot more to do with this chest I refer to ... you see when I came with Jacques Cartier ... I was in possession of the chest ... we were bringing it to the new world for safe keeping ... we managed to safe keep the chest ... the key was lost on the Plains of Abraham and from there made it's way to what is now the east coast of the United States ...
I don't know exactly where it is .... but these things have a habit of finding you ... will you help me find it ... yes ... I will help you find it ... just to know the truth ... where should I start looking ...
Monsieur Connor ... I think you would be advised to start your search in Rockport, ME ... in the first week of July ... this year ... why Rockport and why in the first week of July ... because Monsieur Connor ... there is a rock group called The Ark of the Covenant and they are playing in Rockport that week ....
Join me in early July for The Power of Babble - Penta Gone

Happy Grails To You ...
Hello Folks,
... to be continued ....
Monsieur Connor ... you and I do not have much time to chat .... so let me get to the crux of the matter .... but in reading your blog I sense you already know ... n'est pas ... yes ... I think I can put most of it together, I said .... OK Monsieur Connor ... please tell what you think you know ....
'It' all started at Les Eyzies .... at a Cro Magnon settlement ... a child was born who was different ... larger cranium ... more reasoning and thinking power .... over a period of hundreds of years more children like this were born .... these 'children' had a natural advantage ... they began to plant ... herd ... paint on the cave walls ... and early forms of speech developed ... their actions allowed for rapid population increase and put them in control of their Cro Magnon progenitors ... to the point where they were eventually revolted against .. slaughtered ... with the survivors fleeing for their lives ...
Le Roque Gageac was their first settlement on their own ... the population continued to grow rapidly ... overwhelming and eventually forcing Cro Magnon out of existence ... and in the same instance splinter groups started migrating due to population pressure ... first to the levant ... and then eventually to Africa ... and NW ...
Speech developed quickly ... cities developed ... which lead to city states .... writing soon came after speech ... and self awareness and writing lead to the development of a mythos where the bribe had come from and where 'it was going' ... speech is based on discrimination ... hot versus cold ... black versus white ... left versus right .... but then it was applied to other tribes ... red versus yellow ... white versus black ... that placed tribe against this tribe ...
All of this was harmful but only locally harmful ... until a movement evolved that would become known as Christianity ... now ... man could kill in the name of .... could justify anything through interpretation of the word .... and this would wreak havoc on individuals, families, small towns, large cities, city states, regions and countries for two millennia ....
The grail was in danger of being killed .... it was protected reasonably well until the end of the dark ages .... and then had to be protected in fortified towns or bastides .... the grail migrated to the Levant as homo sapien moved east ... Richard the Lion Heart ... under the banner of the crusades .. retrieved the grail and brought to Beynac ... where it was moved to Domme ... from Domme it moved to the new world with Jacques Cartier where it stayed until it recently returned to Belgium ....
Very good Monsieur Connor .... do you have the grail .... no, I don't have the grail .... but I am in it's presence .... where do you think it is Monsieur Connor ... can you point it out to me ... yes .. yes I can and I pointed at the man I was talking to ... you are better than I thought ... do you know who I am Monsieur Connor .... yes ... you are the first homo sapien born in Les Eyzies and you are over 15,000 years old ....
Yes ... well you can understand my need for a rest ....

What is Grailing You .... Part 3
Hello Folks,
I took the train from Perigueux to Amboise and simply laid low the first night ... I have friends in Amboise and they were able to host me ... a beautiful home decorated in a style fashionable at the turn of the 20th century ... as guests were arriving the next day I moved to a local hotel .... and then started walking around the town looking for ... I don't know ...
There was a celebration of some kind going on and it quickly evidenced itself ... there was a brass band competition ... bands from the UK, Belgium, France and Germany were in town competing ... marching up and down the main street ... interesting ...
In a wine shop in town I saw that same picture of the Belgian tasting the wine and after a few minutes was able to ascertain that the picture was taken close to Montreuil ... about 20 km outside of town ... I bought a copy of the picture poster, I hired a car and drove out there ... beautiful countryside .... after some time I was able to chat with a local who knew the exact location of the photo and drove there ... it's an old farm house ... in need desperately of repair ...
I walked around for a while admiring the potential and possibilities and then I came across a crucifix embedded in the mortar of an outbuilding ... very low ... about 2 feet off the ground and under that a grill ... almost as if it was there to toast the base of the crucifix ....
'All is not as it appears' a voice uttered just behind me and as I turned in complete shock .... the man from Brussels simply smiled and said ... 'bonsoir monsieur ... we have been waiting for you' ...
..... to be continued ....

What is Grailing You .... Part 2
Hello Folks,
OK ... so the grail guardian went to Domme ... I believe ... the next day, I headed out to Domme in search of ... I don't know what ... but I went looking ...
Domme is maybe the best surviving example of a fortified medieval town known as a bastide ... it was founded by Philip The Bold in 1281 ... the Knights Templar were imprisoned here after their dissolution in 1307 ....
The view of the Dordogne River from Domme is spectacular and you can understand looking down and over the valley why this location was chosen for the city ... it would be very hard to approach Domme undetected ... another place excellent for safe keeping it would appear ...
The town is a tourist trap these days but that inn itself can hide and disguise a lot ... there was a market this day .... I walked through the open air stalls looking for something ... anything ... that was just .. too ordinary ... too cute ... like E.T. in the closet .... and just like that ... there it was ... on a wine tasting table ... a picture of a man tasting wine from the barrel ... the man from Belgium ... all this on an advertisement for Vouvray ... a wine from the Loire Valley ... in the Amboise area ....
It appears it is time to move on from the Dordogne ... the woman looking after the tasting area said ... 'you wish to try' ... I said no thank you ... I asked her who the man was in the picture .... she said her grandfather ... the picture was taken in the early 1920s ... he's been dead for 70 years now .... I don't think so ...
That night after a day of grail sleuthing I was famished and parched, so for dinner ... lentil soup (cream based of course) .... lamb in phylo dough pastry with zucchini stuffed with asparagus and ground lamb ... the cheese plate of course ... and then a wafer covered with chocolate mousse and a plate decorated for the occasion ... oh yes ... Leffe Rouge and a local regional wine ....
To quote from verse 1281 of the Krome Koan .....
' ... never eat more than you can lift ... '

What is Grailing You .... Part 1
Hello Folks,
Well ... we have some catching up to do ... I'll post three entries, one right after the other, to get us caught up ... it's been a wild one .... I left you holding two thoughts ... one about speech development at Font de Gaume and the other about safe keeping at Beynac ...
Not too far from Beynac and Font de Gaume is the village of Le Roques-Gegeac .... it is literally built into the side of the limestone cliffs overlooking the Dordogne River ... it is believed homo-sapien were the first to dwell here because of the 'brain power' needed to construct access ... gradually modern man subsumed and adapted what was there ...
It'a beautiful location and it is a steep hike to the top of the village where you can overlook the slow moving Dordogne ... they have boat rides here ... a large, low draft vessel that holds about 40 folks and they take you up and down the river for an hour or so ...
It was from the top of the village looking down at the boat that I saw the grail guardian from Belgium boarding the boat with a backpack ... I watched the boat depart and head upstream ... I quickly opened my guide book and folded out the map ... the next town upstream was Domme ... the old Medieval fortified town perched atop a cliff wall ... I was reasonably sure that was his destination ... and would therefore be my next stop ...
The reason I came here in the first place is that to access the cliffside caves here require someone smart enough to construct access to them .... there is no natural path to them ... and it is close enough to Font de Gaume for someone on the run to seek sanctuary in .... again I am going to ask you to hold that thought until the next day's exploration ... I know ... this is asking too much ... but hang in there ....
After a day of cliff side exploring, I had worked up quite a hunger and thirst .... it was sated and quenched with a saumon fume appetizer ... a grilled tuna steak with roasted cherry tomatoes ... and a baked apple with ice cream ... with a cheese plate and a fine regional red wine .... who knew grail hunting could be this fattening ... ah ... fulfilling ....
To quote from verse 1337 of the Krome Koan,
' ... men are like fine wine ... they should be both kept in a dark cellar until they mature enough to have dinner with ... '
.... belching like a Cro Magnon ....

One Man's Tart ...
Hello Folks,
Les Eyzies ... a commune in this region of France ... was given UNESCO World Heritage site status in 1979 ... it contains several important archaeological sites ... and is most probably the location where Homo Sapien first appeared ... the first skeletal evidence was unearthed here ... and some of the sites contain the largest occurrence of 'rock art' in the world ... Font de Gaume is one of those sites and I visited there yesterday ...
After hiking up to the entrance you are greeted by 'Y' junction leading to what looks like a jail door ... the other leading to a solid iron door ... both of these leading inside the limestone cliff .. .the doors were solid and well locked ... was something being kept out or in ...
A tour guide showed up and after a brief intro ... unlocked the door ... and we were inside the grotto ... pitch black except for some minimal lighting ... after a few minutes my eyes adjusted to the lack of light and we penetrated further into the interior of the cliff side ... eventually we came to an area where the rock art was ... indistinct after 15,000 years ... but never the less visible ... but amazingly ... beautiful .... these 'paintings' were done by someone with great sensitivity ... this wasn't a group of men around a fire eating, drinking, belching, fighting, defecating ... this art was a sensitive portrayal .. even an artistic reach for the soul of the animals themselves ... there is a theory that speech resulted in homo sapiens as a result of a need to communicate about the arts ... so hold that thought while I visit Chateau de Beynac ...
Chateau Beynac is one of the best preserved medieval constructed castles in the world ... it sits perched a top a limestone cliff overlooking the Dordogne valley ... it dates from the 12th century .. and was built to 'close' the valley ... an assault on this edifice would require a massive uphill effort ... almost impossible ... one of the most famous barons of Beynac was Richard The Lionheart from 1189 - 1199 ... he of crusade and Robin Hood fame ... was there ever a place to keep/hide something that would be safer than Beynac until advanced weaponry and assualkt machinery had been developed ... that's say well into the 17th/18th centuries ... probably not ... so hold the two thoughts of speech development and safe keeping until the next blog entry ...
Of course after all this research I was famished so naturally I had to have a chilled carrot soup with a goat cheese garnish, a tart made from rabbit (that had been minced and combined with herbs, spices and egg) and fresh zucchini, a cheese plate and a chocolate cake (cake does not describe it as it was cooked until the exterior was done but the interior was a gooey delicious mess) accompanied by fresh made ice cream ( and I mean cream) and a fruit mixture all sprayed with chocolate ... and a glass of wine of course ... grail hunting can be draining ...

Goose Liver Meets Duck Leg ... In Man's Stomach ...
Hello Folks,
I rented a car and drove to the medieval city of Sarlat ... in the Dordogne region of France ... site of the 100 Years War and the cradle of modern civilization ... it was here Cro Magnon man dwelled and it was most likely here that homo sapiens first appeared ....
The reason I chose this area to pick up the grail trail ... with no clues ... and yes, there is a lot of truth in that statement ... is really quite simple ... this is the former land of Eleanor of Aquitaine ... (whose husband was Henry II of England) ... Eleanor's daughter was Marie de Champagne ... it was part of her court and sponsorship that Chretien des Troyes wrote the Arthurian legends of Lancelot, Camelot and the Holy Grail ... Henry II's son was Richard the Lion Heart ... he of crusade fame ... of of course Knight Templar/Grail association as well ...
There are many who argue that the Holy Grail's natural home is this area of France ... so it is here I have come to look ... the first stop will be the cave dwellings of Cro Magnon man ... I know what I am looking for there .. not sure if I can find it ...
I am staying at a former 13th century hunting lodge ... where Eleanor's progenitors used to hunt (read 'drink and party') ... it is now a small country resort called L'Hoirie ... if they ate like I ate here last night ... they did not move quickly the next day ... no .. not at all ...
Let's see .. .it started off with an appetizer plate ... followed by a fois gras plate ... with some warm bread and wine ... followed by potatoes salardais and confit du canard ... followed by a cheese plate ... followed by a phylo wrapped/baked custard thingy ... nobody said grail hunting was easy ... more soon ... uh ... maybe less soon ..
To quote from 1451 of the Krome Koan ....
